Valentine’s Day 2016_Special Edition

With Valentine’s Day around the corner and per a special request, here are 5 of my favorite A-List spots for all you love birds.

  1. Steak 954, Ft. Lauderdale Beach, FL (The W Hotel)

If you want to splurge and are willing to go the distance, head to Steak 954. The ambiance is awesome, service is exceptional, food is great, and the fresh baked cookies are to die for. The perfect end to the food coma you will have. You may also have a little sticker shock when you get your bill, but it’ll all be worth it.

  1. Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar, Kendall, FL

If you want to stay local and keep it humble, head to Chef Adrianne’s. Between the dim, romantic lighting, and the décor, I felt like I was on vacation visiting a vineyard while I was there. The location seems out of place for the gourmet experience, the food was phenomenal, and the service was good. This is a small spot, and it’s popular. So, don’t expect to show up there without a reservation and expect to get a table, unless you don’t mind sitting at the bar.

  1. Rusty Pelican, Key Biscayne, FL

If you want a view, head to the Rusty Pelican. The outside area is remodeled and consists of small tables and lounge areas with fire pits for cool Miami nights. The food was basic, but the view was to die for. Super romantic date spot for light bites and drinks.

  1. Crazy About You, Brickell, FL

If you want a reasonably priced menu with affordable entrees that include an appetizer of your choice and a variety of drinks, head to Crazy About You and make her crazy for you.

  1. Be Creative, the Sky is the limit

For those who want to collect brownie points and get creative, plan a picnic. We live in Miami, there are tons of beautiful places to pick from. Head to the beach, South Point Park, Key Biscayne, etc.

Need more ideas, check out these posts from Yelp and Thrillist. However, I beg to differ on Cecconi’s being worthy of a nice Valentine’s Day date night.

Hope this helps, my little lovebirds.

XO, Lexi
