Purdy Lounge meets Wood Tavern, but on Calle Ocho in Little Havana and backed by great vibes, great music, cheap drinks…. Need I say more?! If you’re looking for a fun night out without the typical Miami hassles, this is the spot. And the MUSIC, man did it keep me on my feet. It took me on a journey to 1999 hip hop all the way through 2016. I was jamming to all my old favorite songs. As it got later, the music got bumping with a very modest EDM influence, which I LOVED!
The ONLY downside I saw was the parking since it’s limited and the venue is tough to spot. It took us a few circles to find this place, but once we did it was totally worth it. From the outside, you would never know it’s there. It’s hidden next to a small soccer field.
We got there around 11, and it was empty, but I’m so glad, because it quickly got extremely packed and the line outside for entry got huge.
So, what’s my final verdict? Good music and cheap drinks? I’m sold. Of course this is an A-List. As a matter of fact, I think I found my new favorite hangout. Keep up the good work. Please don’t turn over to the dark side (by dark side I mean my Blacklist).
